Rapid updating: Three in one service at Philips and Premiere

Brief
The 400 shop system units developed, produced and implemented by ARNO since 2004 needed a Philips co-branding update. The following additional tasks were also required: The shop system integrated hardware needed to be converted to the new HDTV technology and the old devices returned to Premiere. Possible damages replaced by spare parts or reported for repairs on a later tour. This all within a three week time span.

Solution
We developed and produced the Philips co-branding signs and forwarded the same with new leaflet holders and the new hardware to regional storehouses. By means of customer lists, bundled service tours were devised and the appointments coordinated with the retailers. The removal of the old hardware and implementation of the new, was done on site. The new Philips signs were also implemented, a remote control holder replaced by a leaflet holder, the overall status of the units checked, damages recorded via digital photos and where possible repaired on site with taken along spare parts. When not possible, these were planned and carried out on later service tours. The replaced hardware was labelled per retailer and stock number and returned to Premiere.

Results
The updating took place on time and without incident within a very short project time span during the pre Xmas period. The systems were not only returned to a top standard but there is now a data bank within the installed shop systems with the relevant hardware – as well as photo documentation of the systems.
