Temperatures rose to record heights and press headlines proclaimed „Saharan Heat“ or „Germany, Heat Wave World Champions“. This year the „silly season“ became the „sunny season“. Business developments have taken their lead from this climatic trend. Germany is on an economic up.

During ARNO’s 70th jubilee year, the relevance of POP still remains dominating. Shop-, shop-in-shop- and display-concepts must be short term profitable for ARNO’s customers which means that design has to be totally focused to create a positive buying mood with the consumer. Brand and commercial enterprises invest in the POP exactly for this reason. Where the “cheap is cool” mentality loses its persuasiveness, quality and product value are the name of the game to gain consumer trust and clinch the sale. Despite a strong competitive environment, ARNO can profit from the mentioned upward trend via, amongst other things, the strategic orientation of the ARNO Group, with headquarters in Wolfschlugen (near Stuttgart), and subsidiaries in Munich, Bristol, Madrid and Athens. CEO Frank Arnholdt: „ARNO customers receive a design performance equivalent to that of any renowned studio worldwide. In addition we manufacture, with a lean organisation, and are therefore able to deliver at internationally competitive prices. Our installation teams are located throughout Europe and are able to install quickly and economically in any location on the continent. With excellent service and communication throughout the complete process cycle”.

The continuing expansion of the ARNO Group has enabled extensive new employment in design and project management. In addition a new 7000 square meter logistic centre adjacent to the production area, opened in September 2006. Within a working area of 15000 square meters, displays, shop-in-shop systems and shop fitting elements are manufactured and stored before being forwarded to customers, international brands and commercial enterprises. ARNO has reacted inter alia to the demand for delivery flexibility. Further activities are the founding of ARNO Russia in Moscow and the establishment of a USA location in New York.
