On air: Coca Cola live performance at the POS


Brief
Coca Cola wanted an interactive appearance for the upper end supermarket. In 150 REAL branches, live transmissions of notable social events as well as the hourly update of price labels was requested.

Solution
We developed a SIS system 2.83 m high and a minimum 1.20 m wide – user defined expandable - entirely in the Coca Cola brand look. The shelf system is made of red coated metal. TV capable 32“ TFT-screens, a ticker display and large convex and concave back-illuminated motives, which create a 3D effect, extend the effect into the distance. Digital price labels are updatable on an hourly basis – including the ticker. The software, medi@point is from ARNO interactive.

Result
The new Coca Cola SIS systems are already implemented at REAL and Kaufland. Six further branches are in the process of completion. A proven turnover increase of 5% in the test outlets - with a 75% commodity group share! – proves that the achieved longer retention period pays off.
